Day 1

Day 1 of my BodyRock Challenge!




I discovered BodyRock TV about a year ago on YouTube, but never really tried any of the workouts....they looked a bit intense for me.


This morning I was looking around for some inspiration to get me up and moving, and ran across BodyRock TV again, and got a whole lot of inspiration from their BodyRockers section of before and afters!
Incredible results from all different body types, ages, male and female, all over the world!



The BodyRock crew is incredibly optimistic and inspiring.  Instead of using harsh words to get you through the workouts, they give inspiring encouragement.


Today I was supposed to do the Fitness Test to begin my workout regimen of at least 5 days a week, taking two days rests on the weekends.


I did the fitness test, about 15 minutes worth of intense cardio and weight resistance.
It had my body rocking in NO TIME!


I'm going to post my stats at the end of today's post, but will post them at the beginning from now on.

Day 1 - 
h: 5'3" (obviously won't change)
weight: 120 lbs.


As uncomfortable as I am posting in progress pictures, I also know that you can never be satisfied with how you look or you've already lost the battle.


I'll let my imperfections be my greatest motivation.


 Biggest problem areas are basically what most people are unhappy with:
Arms, tummy, and legs.
I'm especially unhappy with my legs (you can tell why...)
But that's the purpose of this blog: to make my own body my motivation to change, and have some accountability!






Morning: Coffee
11:30: steamed baby carrots
12:00: small apple (60-90 calories)
water bottle with Crystal Light Fruit Punch Mix (Only 5 calories per pack!)
Dinner: Garlic pan-cooked Swai fillet (70 calories)
            Coffee with 2 Graham Crackers (120 calories)
            (still wasn't full after waiting a little while...) 
            1 piece of Honey Wheat toast with PB and honey
water bottle with Crystal Light


Tomorrow I'm going to start with Day 2 of Week 1 of the BodyRock Challenge!
